Hawthorne School Supplies 2025-26

For the first day of school, please have your student(s) bring the following. If purchasing supplies is a hardship, please contact your child’s teacher and we will offer assistance.

* Kindergarten Supply List

Individual Student Supplies-please label with your child’s full name

Regular size backpack (no mini or compact size)-Minimum dimensions: 14”H x 17”W -must fit a 2 pocket folder without bending

• 1 Water Bottle-minimum 12 ounces
• 1 Child Size Headphones (with a cord and to stay at school)
• 1 Wide Ruled Spiral Notebook

Classroom Supplies-please do not label

• Pencils – Ticonderoga Pre Sharpened Beginner Pencils
• Large Crayons-No jumbo crayons please
• Crayola washable markers (8 count)
• 12 pack colored pencils
• Black Fine Tip Expo dry erase markers (6 pack or more)
• 2 packages of Elmer’s Glue Sticks (preferably 6 pack) 
• 2 regular size boxes of tissues
• 1 pack of white copy paper
• 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
• 1 container of clorox wipes

Optional Class Donations: 

• Quart size zip loc bags – 1
• Gallon size zip loc bags – 1
• Pink pearl erasers
• 3×3 post its
• Black Expo Chiseled Tip Dry Erase Markers 
• Colored Expo Chiseled Tip Dry Erase Markers
• Crayola colors of the world crayon (skin color crayons)
• Sets of Individually Wrapped Snacks (we rely on family donations throughout the year-thank you!)

• 1 box fine tip black dry erase markers

The 1st grade team has some additional supply requests for our classrooms. We have created an Amazon Wishlist so we can get the correct supplies for all students.

To encourage equity and management of materials in the classroom, all supplies will be pooled and distributed as needed throughout the year (except for their backpack and headphones). Please do not send in extra supplies. Each teacher also has a wish list for those who are hoping to support more. Thank you!

Throughout the year we will be asking any families who are willing and able to donate shelf stable snacks. The average class size is looking to be no larger than 25. We welcome donations starting the first week of school.

• One composition notebook
• One graph paper (1/4 inch) notebook
• 4 folders
• 4 expo markers
• I pack of pencils (Dixon Ticonderoga #2)
• 1 pack of crayons
• Pencil box
• 1 black sharpie
• 1 pack markers (washable)
• 1 pack colored pencils
• Erasers (pink pearls two pack)
• 1 glue stick
• Optional (but nice if you are able to donate to the class)

• 1” 3 Ring Binder with Pockets (Please don’t get a larger size, they won’t fit in the desk)
• 1 pack dividers
• 1 box of Crayola colored pencils
• 1 box of markers
• 2 composition notebooks (one graph paper if possible)
• 1 plastic pencil box

Below items will be used for the whole class, please send in whatever you can
